Blog Title Explanation

I selected the name "Cocco Puffs" because of a nickname I had throughout my high school career. In high school many referred to me not by my first or last name, but by Cocco. One might ask how this nickname originated, and it is perfectly logical. It originated with my maternal grandfather, whose last name was Cocco, and which since then has become not only his last name but my middle name as well. Some find the name bizarre, but mostly I find that people deem my middle name to be both unique and interesting. The reason that the name itself is thought to be bizarre is because the origin of the name is Italian (as was my grandfather). In regards to the second part of the title, "Puffs," it refers to a certain food that I particularly enjoy, cereal. Cereal is something that I can salivate anytime, whether it be morning or night the taste is always as refreshing as the last. As is the case I decided to name myself Cocco Puffs, similar to the beloved cereal of some: "Cocoa Puffs." Besides being a tribute to both my middle name and favorite cereal, the title of my blog is also an indicator to my creativity. I sincerely enjoy being creative with words and phrases, whether they be puns or not, because it allows both the audience and I to encounter an alternate source of pleasure and entertainment while reading. Although the title is simplistic, I find that the name given to this blog will allow the audience to become acquainted with three things I love in my life: my middle name, my creativity, and Cocoa Puffs.
